Hussam Attereh Group, proudly acquired a ruling by the Court of Cessation, in 2021, that approves its previous request for cancelation of a registered trademark which infringed on a trademark owned by Shantou Yinji Cosmetic Factory, a client of the Group. The court ruling came after the Group applied for cancelation of an infringing trademark ( ) with the Trademark’s Registrar’s Office, after it had been registered for 4 years, which was met by an appeal by the opposition. At court, the Group proceeded to display its client’s previous ownership and use of the renowned trademark and the infringement the opposition imposed on the mark as well as the unfair commercial competition such an infringement imposed despite it being a registered trademark.
